I am an experienced Environment Technical Artist with a strong background in the game industry. My career began as a 3D Generalist at an independent game studio, where I developed a broad skill set in game art production. Currently, I serve as the Head of the Technical Art Department at Gaya Simulations Madrid, leading technical art initiatives and overseeing the creation of high-quality assets for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
As a member of the Environment Art team, my responsibilities include:
- Creating high-quality 3D props, materials, and environment assets.
- Developing add-ons and scripts to streamline workflows, reduce workload, and minimize repetitive tasks for artists.
- Designing procedural tools to accelerate environment creation and enhance efficiency.
- Providing technical guidance solving issues with game engines, cost-effective techniques and optimization strategies to ensure high-quality, game-ready assets.
I contribute to delivering top-tier content for our industry-leading partners, including Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Responsible for the creation of 3D characters and props for the video game.
In charge of the development from zero to game-ready characters, which implies character design, Modeling, texturing, rigging and animation.
As a 3D artist intern I was tasked to do 3D characters with the help of the art director, including character design, modeling, texturing, rigging and animation.
During this intern I highly developed my skill on this area with special focus on the rigging and animation learning given the wide variety of different rig and animation need of each character.
